Our Story

Our story began when we noticed a troubling trend among friends, family, and adults. Everyone seemed exhausted. Our classmates were struggling to stay awake in class and adults were barely getting through the day; we saw how deeply the lack of sleep affected the people around us. As we researched, we found that insomnia and sleep issues were far more common and harmful than we ever thought. Its prevalence affects 10-15% of adults in the world. Hoping to spread awareness about the matter and provide helpful ways to minimize the disorder we developed Insomnia Impact.

We are 3 high school students passionate about our mission to raise awareness of insomnia and its impact. We are dedicated as an organization to come together and teach not just our community but those all around the world because we believe everyone deserves to rest well and sleep peacefully. We’re starting off with small projects such raising money through pop-ups to donate to the AASM foundation, creating social media accounts on multiple platforms, and reaching out to medical professionals to listen and learn about their input on insomnia. However, this isn't all, we plan on doing so much more and rising to greater heights.

About Us/What We're Doing as an Organization

Our Goals

Our goal is to spread awareness of insomnia and its effects. About 85% of people who struggle with insomnia aren’t aware they have it, and for that reason, we aim to increase knowledge on insomnia’s symptoms and treatments. We strive to raise money for insomnia research organizations, encourage healthy habits, and to help people struggling with the disorder to seek help.
